"Singing should only be about filling up the air with vibrations and a heart full of conviction while challenging the volume of other instruments without help from any amplifiers nor microphones. Playing an instrument is merely about allowing the singer to do his job properly and to draw attention to the message that her or his voice is trying to underline. These recordings are the most faithfull statements I could find of the definitions above. NOTHING was amplified apart from the will not to fool ourselves with NOISE... and the bass guitar. It is more litterature than propaganda, it is less pop than traditional and it is not rock'n roll at all. These are the best versions of our songs we ever played together and, happily, they were "accidentaly" recorded. Or, I would rather say, the best versions of our songs we ever recorded that were "accidentaly" played, happily... From the greatest contemporary rock band that NEVER existed. Happy Xmas."
